Hiding there beneath my feet,
Through the springtime and the summer heat.
Leaves begin to turn, winter’s on its way.
I need you now to take my blues away.

Snowdrops, sleeping underground ‘til the snow starts falling
And we’re freezing our toes off,
Waiting for the spring to bloom.
Christmas days will be done, then you’re with us.
And the happiness that you give us will save us from the winter gloom.

Fresh green shoots surround my toes.
A new year comes as the old one goes.
When you open up, like fruits from the barren land,
Snow white petals warm my frozen hand.
